In the Avida model line-up, the Ceduna, now in its 4th phase, has gone from strength to strength and is now available in standard tourer or multi-terrain. Both will have you moving between Australia’s diverse ranges, navigating the unknown and exploring new territory.
Who once was a jolly swagman, that camped by a billabong, under the shade of a coolabah tree, is now a spritely owner of a luxury motorhome, who nestles his vehicle on a sand dune in ear shot of crashing waves, under the shade of his huge roll out awning. He sang, as he watched his flat screen TV and waited until his electric kettle boiled, you’ll come and enjoy the great outdoors with me. [Reference: A.B (“Banjo”) Patterson]

If you are looking for something that has considerable roomy expanse, is light weight and modern in design with a long list of standard features, then look no further than the newly perked up Avida Ceduna. In the Avida model line-up, the Ceduna, now in its 4th phase, has gone from strength to strength and is now available in standard tourer or multi-terrain. Both will have you moving between Australia’s diverse ranges, navigating the unknown and exploring new territory.
Avida Ceduna New Layout
With the newfangled 2019 layout, it offers even more standard comforts for the frequent traveller, incorporating a larger bathroom, extra-large wardrobe, and a contemporary interior with soft close drawers and handle free overhead cupboards. It offers great value for money as it can comfortably sleep 2-6 people with seat belts to match.
A ceiling mounted roll-down electric bed that is controlled by a simple switch mechanism, a rear club lounge to help get the conversation started, then doubles as two comfortable beds and a large bed over the cabin, cleverly maximising the space to provide more surface area for use during the day, and provides room enough to stretch out to ensure a well-rested night’s sleep.
When you walk into the Ceduna you can immediately see the benefits of the new thoughtful layout. The motorhome shows off its spacious feel with pride and offers the feeling of a bright and energetic space.
The kitchenette is well specified and workable with contemporary cupboards, slide out pantries for clever storage and soft close drawers. It includes a four-burner cooktop with grille, microwave, 188L AES fridge and stainless-steel sink with drainer, plus the overhead storage for any dish and cookware that you are going to be taking with you.
The soft neutral tones used throughout are a fail-safe space enhancer that add just the right amount of warmth, while the large open windows draw the eye to the view and beyond. The roller blind window treatment creates a non-fussy look that makes the most of natural light, giving it an airy feel.
Ceduna Multi Terrain Pack
Traverse over anything Mother Nature throws your way when you get behind the wheel of the Ceduna with an optional multi-terrain pack which includes items such as an additional fresh water tank, checker plate with black rear wall mould inserts, an external BBQ fitting, external shower with hot and cold water, multi terrain decals, front nudge bar, LED light bar and solar panels.
Avida’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Billy Falconer, remarked, “We are very pleased with the end result of the new model Ceduna. Our in-house design team worked on many changes which were mostly driven from customer feedback and its great to see that all come to life”.
Designed for the customer with an all new and modern look, the Ceduna includes many changes like the straight rather than curved cupboards to open up the space inside, a fold-down bench at the entry door and a pull-out bench with drawer to provide a ‘wrap-around’ kitchen or use the additional pull-out bench as a workstation.
The cooktop has also been repositioned and is now located close to the layout entrance to take advantage of the new ‘wrap-around’ kitchen.
The Ceduna’s TV is conveniently located near the club lounge between the two slide-out pantries, and the bathroom has been extended to include overhead cupboards and space for a washing machine.
Mr Falconer said “Some other great features of the new MY19 Ceduna include a radio in the motorhome and the chassis, a new stylish entry door with 4-point security screen, choice of interior colours, solid bathroom door and enhanced external storage doors for a new and modern looking Ceduna”.
