Big on excitement and flair and lean on looks, Honda’s brand new touring powerhouse, the Goldwing F6B will make its Australian debut amongst the crowds of the 2013 Ulysses Club AGM to be held on Queensland’s Fraser Coast on April 15-21.
A reincarnation of Honda’s legendary Goldwing, the new F6B boasts the same performance and luxury but is a lighter, trimmer and leaner machine. The Goldwing F6B will be available exclusively through Honda Goldwing Dealerships in late April and boasts an affordable MLP of $24,990 (excludes on road and registration costs).
The Ulysses Club AGM is a week long event which attracts several thousand motorcyclists annually. Honda will be on site daily from Tuesday to Friday offering test rides on the new Goldwing F6B along with other popular Honda models. Honda’s new F6B houses the Goldwing’s legendary 1,800cc, horizontally opposed SOHC, two-valve, six-cylinder engine. Few riders will forget their first encounter with this particular motor which, with its smooth power delivery and instant avalanche of torque, is rapidly addictive.
The lightweight, twin-spar aluminium frame provides strength and is aided by the engine’s low centre of gravity to create a chassis that boasts great-handling at all speeds. A Dual Combined ABS braking system ensures the Goldwing F6B will provide rapid and secure stopping power on all road surfaces and conditions.
Riders of all ages will enjoy the sense of freedom Honda’s new F6B exudes. Flowing fluidly from front to rear the F6B features minimal fairing and a short screen.
This touring machine is more than capable of taking both rider and pillion on a highway adventure but will also offer ample comfort on congested city streets.
