Isuzu D-MAX LS-U+ – I’ve had an Isuzu LS-U+ 4WD Dual Cab Ute for a couple of weeks and it has made me think about what makes a good Ute.
Safety, the D-Max is currently the class leading Ute for safety features, with the new Intelligent Driver Assistance System (IDAS), across the entire range and a five star ANCAP safety rating.

4WD capability, well the Isuzu with shift on the fly dual range selection, rear diff lock, impressive approach and departure angles and direct responsiveness to steering and throttle inputs makes an excellent true 4WD
Towing ability. The D-Max is amongst the best of the normal size Utes for towing. It will tow up to 3500kg with ease and excellent economy. The 3.0L diesel engine isn’t the highest in output in the class but the delivery at low torque figures ensures that drivers maximise its abilities.
Interior comfort is upgraded with premium black leather-accented upholstery and interior trims, heated front seats, electronic driver’s seat adjustment with additional lumbar support and dual vanity mirror lights, an auto-dimming rear view mirror, heated door mirrors
Legendary Isuzu reliability and robustness backed by a 6 year 150,000km warranty with 7 years capped price service and roadside assistance.
Isuzu D-MAX LS-U+ is priced from only $61,900 plus the usual costs it should be on everyone list for a premium Dual Cab Ute.
