Toyota has launched a new special edition LandCruiser 200 Series, with thousands of dollars worth of added-value features.
The new LandCruiser 200 Series ‘Altitude’ has over $4,000 worth of features over and above the GXL model grade on which it is based.
Heading the added features are 18-inch alloy wheels (from the VX/Sahara model), black leather-accented interior, a cooler box, and power-operated driver and front-passenger seats.
LandCruiser 200 Altitude is offered with a twin-turbo V8 diesel engine, matched to an electronically controlled automatic transmission.
The recommended retail price of the LandCruiser 200 Series Altitude is $90,490 compared with $88,490 for turbo-diesel GXL.
The LandCruiser Altitude interior includes premium steering wheel, premium gearshift knob and cooler box – a feature traditionally reserved for top-of-the-range Sahara.
The power front-seat feature includes height adjustment.
Additional exterior features for LandCruiser Altitude begin with five 18-inch alloy wheels from VX/Sahara with 285/60R18 tyres, as well as roof rails and an Altitude badge.
Five exterior colours are offered – Crystal Pearl, Eclipse Black, Silver Pearl, Graphite and Shimmer.
Crystal Pearl and Eclipse Black were previously reserved for VX and Sahara model grades
