The Dingo Pup is a lightweight, yet robust camper for the adventurous travellers with a SUV style vehicle.
Built on a one piece continuous chassis and a lightweight cabin, the key for SUV buyers is that the tow ball rating is only a claimed 100kgs* This will suit the SUVs like the Subaru Outback, Kia Sorento, Nissan Pathfinder or X Trail etc.
Designed in the fold forward style, which has the advantage of sitting in its own footprint, the Dingo Pup has a host of comfort features. These include a slide out stainless steel kitchen, 2 burner portable cook top and grill, Fridge slide, stainless steel sink and tap.
Sleeping and sitting are well accommodated with a queen bed, adjustable dining table, a six seat lounge that converts to a double bed and a reasonable amount of space. There are LED lights everywhere as well.
To keep everyone clean there is a shower outlet and electric water pump that runs at about 4L/minute, which will drain the 120L stainless steel water tank pretty quickly if a careful eye isn’t kept on the water gauge.
Keeping everything running and hopefully in one piece is the 100 x 50 continuous galvanised chassis. This sits on adjustable heavy duty independent suspension with dual shocks for better ride and handling.
The Dingo Pup rides on 15” Black Steel Wheels with a 6 Stud Land Cruiser Pattern and 15” Mud Tyres and parallel bearings. Stopping is assisted by hefty 10 inch electric drum brakes. Up front is a McHitch 360 Off Road Coupling. I always say if you need a 360 degree articulation hitch, you are in trouble.
Sitting on top of the box camper is the 15 Ounce heavy duty canvas with a detachable annex roof walls and PVC Floor & Draft Skirt as well as a tropical roof. To keep privacy when showering there is a fully enclosed Ensuite Room with removable floor and
Camper trailers are storage critical and the Dingo Pup assists with 6 x Storage Areas, rear pole box, 2 x Jerry Can Holders and 2 x 4kg Gas Holders
One area where campers have come a long way is their electrical systems and the Dingo Pup is no exception. It has an impressive list of features including:- LED Tail and Clearance Lights, 1 x 100AH AGM Battery, CTEK Charger, 1 x Anderson Plug: For Car or Solar Charging, 2 x 12 Volt Sockets, 1 x USB Sockets, 12 Volt Fridge Socket with extra Anderson Plug, Electric Fan in Fridge Compartment, Voltage Meter, Amp Meter and 50 AMP Circuit Breaker.
