Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Australia has expanded its Amarok range to include the new Canyon Special Edition in an effort to keep up with the competitors that are leaving it behind. Its a little bit of too little too late as it copies the successful Burnt Orange from Holden’s Colorado
The Special Edition Amarok Canyon comes standard with an array of functional and visual features setting the model above other Amaroks in the range.
Based on the TDI400 and TDI420 Highline models, the Canyon raises the level of standard equipment. Easily identifiable, the exterior of the exclusive Amarok receives black gloss sports and side bars, 17-inch Roca Alloy wheels with Pirelli Scorpion AT-R tyres, impact and UV-resistant load area coating in the tray, tinted tail lamps and special ‘Canyon’ rear and side decals.
Inside, the Canyon’s interior is also equipped with a higher grade of unique standard features, including satellite navigation and reversing camera and two-tone Nappa leather interior with orange stitching.
The Amarok Canyon special edition is available now in a choice of four colours, including Candy White and metallic colours Deep Black and Reflex Silver. Adding a final distinguishing feature to the special edition Amarok, the Canyon is also available in the exclusive Copper Orange metallic colour, unique to the Canyon range.
